I haven't posted a lot lately, main reason are my exams. But as I have English (and history) tomorrow, I decided it wouldn't hurt to write some English ^^.

Hmm, what can I talk about ?
Like I said, I'm in the middle of my exams right now. I've already had 3 of the 12 exams: maths (part 1), dutch and economics. Tomorrow it's history and english, then german and physics. Then there's still geography and biology left, french, maths (part 2) and chemistry. I have a hard week to look forward to..

On the bright side: once that's over, holidays start =D
Oh & btw, I love Apple =D. The iPod Touch is amazing! Once you can type on it.. :p It took me 10min just to write this. But it's great =). Because of it, I've become more active on Twitter (it's easier to update than this blog), so check it out for more updates => @AnneleentJ

I've started a new project, called "Thank you, teacher". As you can probably guess, it's about thanking our teachers, because we don't do it enough. Being a teacher is one of the hardest jobs there is and I want to do something to say thanks.

So here's the plan:
I'm trying to gather several things from people all over the world to thank all teachers. Things like:
- stories about teachers you still remember, teachers who changed your life and who you want to thank
- videos of people talking about a teacher
- photos
- quotes
- poems
Anything you can think of.
When I think I have enough, I'll put them together, make a small presentation and put it online, so teachers can watch it and everyone can send it to their teachers. I plan to have this done by October 5, 2010: "World teacher's day".

During the weekend, I usually do nothing. Maybe study a bit, every couple of weeks go to work, but that's it. This weekend was a bit different.
It was "restaurantweekend" at school. Students come to school with friends or family to eat. The teachers and some students cook, serve, clean, etc. Marjolein and I were two of those students who offered to help. And it's fun. You get a chance to talk to the teachers outside of class and go places in school you're normally not allowed (like the basement - which is awesome cause you can play snooker, table tennis, etc over there =D).
Marjolein and I have done this every year for the past 3 years, so it's nice. Normally we go on saturday to help, and eat there on sunday. But this year, there were too little students to help so we offered to go help on Sunday too, after we had eaten.

So on Saturday we helped and afterwards we went to a party. A party that was organised by the seniors of our school ( = us :p ). I was looking forward to it for a couple of weeks, but once there I felt tired and my knee hurt, so I already went home at 1 am..
Today, Sunday, I went back to school to have lunch and help afterwards. But Marjolein's parents thought there were enough students to help already, so they decided she had to go home and study. At first, I didn't like it, cause it's way more fun when you're there with friends. So I walked around for a while, searching for something to do, and then I spotted Mr Boelen cleaning plates and putting them in a little elevator which would take them downstairs where someone else would take them out and do the dishes. So I decided to help him. The work itself wasn't fun, but talking to him, laughing, teasing each other certainly was.
We didn't talk about anything in particular. Small-talk mostly. But it was nice ='). If I didn't have to study (which I am going to do after I've written this post), I'd probably still be there.

We had a week of vaction this week, finally ! =D. After more than 2 months of going to school, we all needed it.

I had a nice week.
Friday (Oct 30), Marjolein, Annick, Winny & I went to the MacQueen. It was okay.. I was supposed to meet Christoff there, but I didn't see him.. I was disappointed, but I was happy Marjolein was there to talk to..
On Wednesday (Nov 4) Jeroen, Evelien, dad and I went to Leuven (Google maps link). I followed a maths class there, to see how things go in university. Although I didn't really understand what they were talking about, I found it interesting and not as bad as dad had told me.. While I was sitting there, listening to the professor, Jeroen & Evelien & dad went shopping, and when the class was over, I joined them. It was fun =). & I had never been in Leuven, so it was nice to visit it.
Friday (Nov 6) I went shopping with Marjolein, Jeroen & Evelien in Maastricht (Google maps link). It was great. We laughed a lot ='). When we got home, my mom thought my brother and I were tipsy cos we couldn't stop laughing x').
Afterwards I went to another party.  This time with my sister. Again, Christoff was going to come, but again I didn't see him. I'm starting to think the universe hates us or so. Everytime we want to meet, something happens. Either one of us can't come, or we just don't see each other, or -like that day- people start to fight and the party stops earlier. It's getting frustrating..

Other days I did almost nothing ^^. Drove around a bit.. I'm slowly getting used to it.. At first, it was scary. Every time we passed a car I was scared. But now I'm getting pretty good at it =). Read More......
